We have offered OpenStreetMaps an alternative to GoogleMaps for a couple of years and the most recent builds of managed locations should still work with Joomla 3.10 (for the time being - but not for much longer) so I would suggest you create a clone of the site and upgrade to the latest versions to test before upgrading your live site
