CCK listing dont allow to link K2 items from another author

Hi,
my subscription has ended so I cannot post in the Club forum but I think there is a bug in the CCK listing plugin.
When trying to link a K2 item to an event, only the items from the same author are listed in the popup for selecting an item. If the K2 item is created from another author, the author logged in cannot link that item to the event.
Can this be fixed?

This is intentional - since the event creator may not have access to the K2 items (e.g. access levels wrong, unpublished or other constraints) so unless they have access to the backend of Joomla they can only pick from their own K2 items.

You can change this in the file plugins/jevents/jevcck/cck/k2.php in the getPossible method (keep a note of your changes so you don't loose them when you upgrade)

thanks for the reply. In my case they do have access to the backend of the Joomla. They login using the /administrator link and they have (limited) access to the admin panel.

I'll try the hack.
