I have multiple calenders running on our site and with the I've got multiple categories. However when I go to a specific calendar and create a new event in it, the new event doesn't show in the calendar. In the admin part of the site the event is stored but without the category. The category is fixed based on the calendar that is active at that time. So for example I have a calendar called "Verhuur" (Verhuur). When I create a new event the following screen pops-up: SA-verhuur.PNG
As you can see the category is fixed (I would like to have the calendar fixed as well, but that is another question). When saved the category is not added into the database which results in an event not showing in the calendar. This happened after the latest update of Joomla 3.8.12 and Jevents 3.4.47. I already cleared the cache but that didn't help.

With best regards,
Jeroen

Do you have any template overrides?

Can you try the attached version?

Many thanks
Tony

Hello Jeroen,

The category becomes fixed when no other categories are available to the user. So the user in question isn't authorised to post in any other categories except that 1 you can see.

Many thanks
Tony

Hello Tony,

Thank you, I understand that but that is not the issue. The problem is that this category is not saved in the database and therefor the event doesn't show up in the calendar. The fact that it is fixed is what I want, but it is (no longer) saved. This issue was not present in the previous release of Jevents.

Kind regards,
Jeroen
