Cannot completely Uninstall JEvents

I no longer require JEvents on my website and my subscription has expired. However, I cannot completely uninstall. For some reason the plug in "JEvents - Standard Images/Files Plugin" will not uninstall so I am continually getting update notices for this. I have tried reinstalling my last valid JEvents package, installing again, and then uninstalling and still the plug in remains.

If you reinstall JEvents Core then uninstall Standard Image and Files then the core it should work fine. If not please provide the error message which is shown. Also enable debug mode and try again see if you get anymore messages.
