We have been using JEVENTS for about 3 years and we recently purchased the upgrade this year and it is not functioning. I am not able to delete categories from the first download after deleting and reinstalling the latest version.

You cannot delete categories if there are events assigned it the category since they would cause issues for the events.

You need to empty your trash first if you have already deleted the events and then delete your category.
