Hi I use JEvents for a Rotary Club where we have tasks set on a roster,
EG Joe Bloggs is rostered as attendance officer on March 20
Is there a way the system can email those rostered on 5 days before an event date?

Hello Richmcd,
It sure can. You just need to enable the auto reminders in RSVP Pro -> Configuration -> Reminders
And then also setup the cronjob:

I have purchased and installed RSVP Pro
But I need help in setting it up, the documentation i am reading does not seem to support my needs, which are
I have events scheduled where I need to nominate people to tasks, all the people are Joomla Users.
Is there a way an administrator or a nominated user can nominate people from the user list as rostered for a task and then have RSVP Pro sent them a reminder 4 days prior that they are rostered on for that task

Hello Richmcd,
You could enable RSVP Pro Attendance, then add them to the event as attendees, they will then be notified by the reminders.
The Attendance could contain a list which is capacity limit of the tasks. And you would select the task per person when registering them.
