How do I correct the date on the Calendar module?

Screenshot attached.
In the latest events module you should remove the ";" and the carriage return in the format string

The problem with the date selection in the calendar module is down to the caching on your site - I don't know which caching system you use but if I invalidate it on https://denbighshiregolf.org.uk/administrator/ the front page works fine.

P.S. I grew up in Wrexham and live just outside Ruthin!

Hi Geraint,

I have removed the semicolon and the carriage return in the Latest Event, should I see a difference?

To clear my cache I go to System > Maintenance > Clear Cache. I also have Invalidate Cache installed. Would you recommend something else as the date is now currently showing February 2020!

Regards
Tony

I've never seen "Invalidate Cache" before but it seems to ignore the Joomla settings for caching the module etc.

You may want to ask the developers for assistance or revert to using the core Joomla caching systems

Hi Geraint,

I've disabled Invalidate Cache and just used the Joomla system cache which didn't work either.

I've installed Regular Labs Cache Cleaner and it now seems to work okay.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Geriant,

Sorry to trouble you again but the calendar is now showing May 2024 after clearing cache using the Joomla core system cache.

Any suggestions? (maybe a reply next week)

Tony

What caching level do you have configured in the Joomla config and do you have the joomla page cache enabled?
