Hello,

I have to propose a technical solution for an association.
The aim would be to offer article-type content (blog) that would be linked to events.
Can I create an event directly from an article? Or vice versa? (the idea is not to do the two separately)

Thanks in advance
Sorry for the slow reponse times over christmas/new year

We offer an agenda/minutes addon to silver members which can create 2 articles associated with an event. One appears ahead of the event and the other after the event has taken place.

The 'agenda' article doesn't need to be an agenda it can be a blog article

The articles and event are linked in both directions OR you can have one auto-redirect to the other based on how you configure the addon

hello,

I found the way to create an article from event creation, that works ( with a bit of learning)
But not to create an event from article creation.
In this case, I have to create an event before and link it

No - there is no mechanism to create an event from the article creation page at present.

Glad you got it working

that should be a good feature.
having a tab with jevents fields to complete, and if they are filled, then a new Jevent is created.
