Hello,

How can i make the button "add an event" visible to public, but when you want to add you should register first.

Thanks a lot
Hello,

I'm afraid that's not possible.

But you can add a custom module, visible to guests which is an Add event button that takes you to your Sites registration page. Placing it in one of our many custom module positions. See:

https://www.jevents.net/frequently-aske ... in-jevents

Many thanks

Thanks, but is there a plugin from silver membership that allows making this add event button ?
Or it does not exist at all
Is it not the objectif of this one: User - Create JEvents Authorised User ?
But you need to add this button first i guess

Hello,

No not by default. Because it's counter productive to the user, they think they could add an event then be told they can't without paying.

It would be more practical to have a button which said, Join to Add Events.

Again this is achievable in the same way above. No need for a plugin, you can use a custom module position.

Many thanks

Hello,

so did you create a Joomla! Custom HTML Module?

Did you type in the position and click save?

Can you please post your JEvents Support Info as per 2. of the forum rules?

Many thanks

Hello,

Once they have registered to your site. They will be able to add events providing you have setup the permissions to allow them to add events in:

JEvents -> Configuration -> Permissions

Many thanks

Thanks for your response, i do agree with you, but in this case the custom button telling add event will be displayed, even if user has registred so there will be confusion, they need then to look for add event button from jevent to create one, am i right ?

Is there no way to make this button add event for jevent public, (by permission) and then make them register, and directly after they can add event directly .

Hello,

Yes exactly as I have said previously.

You create the module to show an Add event. Once registered and you have configured your JEvents Permissions correctly they will be able to add events. When they can add events a normal add new event panel is displayed and the hover on month + sign is shown.

Many thanks
