I have recently updated from 3.1.47 to 3.4.3
This has caused a number of problems on site. These may well be mostly cosmetic, but they are nonetheless annoying. Specifically:

[*:3tkor7b5]items using the <a> tag are no longer highlighted using the site default\[/*:m:3tkor7b5]
[*:3tkor7b5]Contact name has moved position[/*:m:3tkor7b5]
[*:3tkor7b5]map embedded with phocamaps no longer displays[/*:m:3tkor7b5]
[*:3tkor7b5]There is no longer any back button[/*:m:3tkor7b5][/list:u:3tkor7b5]
I can probably cure most of these with CSS workarounds - although I am not sure about the phocamaps one. Is there any easy way to go back to 3.1 to avoid all this work?

JEvents 3.4 now uses the official Joomla! JQuery/bootstrap library. Opposed to the previous Joomla! Moo tools library.
In regards to the styling you can configure what versions of bootstrap JEvents loads in the JEvents config.
In regards to the map plugin, It sounds like a possible jQuery conflict. But again we use the official Joomla! JQuery library and or Google maps plugin works perfectly so interacts with the Google Api fine.
You might want to ask the developer for support on that one.
