Hi i have a series of event that are yoga classes...

people must book their spot trough rsvp pro

https://www.yogafirenze.it/index.php?option=com_jevents&view=range&layout=listevents&Itemid=1213

Students must have an account in order to book

but some students are so bad with web stuff that they click repeatedly on the subscribe button and i get many times their registration....

how can i avoid this?
The module is being repeated because of how you are using modules anywhere to load the cb login module. You should either not use the modules anywhere plugin OR switch to the Joomla login module which is a LOT faster to load.

I then found the second big issue - your plugin "Content - Ultimate Facebook Comments"

If you disable this plugin for JEvents and use the joomla login module instead of the cb login module your performance should be transformed

They appear in the list of attendees more than once? This should not be possible for logged in users signing up for an event.

Is this happening because the website is slow responding and they click the button a second time?

I tried to look just now and found that it wasn't possible to login - the page took a long time to load and then there was a 500 error.

Have you considered alternative hosting? There are a few companies that specialise in Joomla hosting with various performance tweaks

The big players in Joomla are Rochen, Siteground, CloudAccess

By the way are you attending the Joomla World Conference in Rome? There are a few hosting companies sponsoring the events (see https://conference.joomla.org/sponsors.html) including one Italian company - so they may be worth looking at

If you can give us login details on the private site details tab we can run some test for you.

Your performance issue doesn't make any sense - you only have a few events and yet the event list page takes 3 seconds to be generated. Switching off your JEvents plugins has no effect. The database queries are all fast so that isn't the cause of the problem (which it normally is).

You have a lot of system and content plugins that I'm not familiar with and these could be interacting with JEvents - can you try disabling as many as you can and seeing if it make a difference. I didn't want to do this in case I broke something.

Hi :-) I'm here again for slowliness of the jevents component and i did not find a solution, but i have the same slow performance on other websites: for example this event take lot of time to load on another website using jevents:
https://www.anukalanayoga.com/icalrepeat.detail/2018/03/30/62/ritiro-di-yoga-e-meditazione-pasqua-2018.html

I'm so happy with jevents that i am ready to pay your service to find a solution for this slow performance that i understand may be due to some other plugins... do you think you can investigate for me?

i developed the sites but i'm not that expert and my time now is fully dedicated to live stuff (just leading the events :-)

Sorry for the delay in responding.

If you can add the login details and URL to the 'site details' tab below I'll take a quick look for you to see if there is an obvious cause of the problem. If it requires more work I'll give you an estimate of what it might cost

Sorry for the delay - I pulled a muscle in my back last week and couldn't sit at my desk for long periods of time. The downside of having an active 2 year old son and not doing enough stretching

It seems that your Accedi CB login module is being repeated multiple times (about 28 times on a single event page) and takes a LONG time to load. I don't know why it is being repeated?? I disable an event page is faster but still very slow.

I'm taking a closer look for you now.
