I am tasked with migrating a small Festival listing website which currently uses a hand-coded HTML table linking to various sets of articles which are -
- event details
- perfomer details
- venue details
- ticket type details

As I cannot include a direct link in this post, please search for "Simonsbath Festival" and look at the "Events" page.

Having used Joomla! for a few other small websites I would prefer to use the same CMS for this festival website. However I am struggling to work out how far an Events Management module such as JEvents can help me to achieve a similar functionality to the current website without too much hand-crafting.

I have used a couple of other Events Management modules and all seem to lmit the listing types to categories of events and venues: I have not yet found a module which would allow me to easily link to a set of articles about "perfomers".

I would be grateful for any suggestions you might have.
Tim
With JEvents and and some silver member addons you can achieve this.

Managed locations give you details about your venus, maps, descriptions, images etc.
Managed people/resources can give you information about your performers and the events associated with them
Custom fields addon (or simply the description/extra info fields) can give you details about ticket types etc.
Standard Images/Files can include images relating to the events.
The layout editor (https://www.jevents.net/frequently-aske ... ut-editing) would allow you to customise the presentation of your event details and listing/calendar pages without doing any coding.

Hope that helps - the demo pages (http://www.jeventsdemo.net) can give you a flavour of the possibilities available to you
p.s. Using RSVP Pro (the gold member addon) you can even sell tickets for your events.
