'Jump to Month' doesn't work

The 'Jump to Month' button doesn't seem to work as intended on my site. It brings down the fields to choose the desired month/year, but then when the second Jump to Month button, below these fields, is pressed to find the desired month, the site just returns to the homepage. I'm apparently using version 3.6.39, although there isn't a forum category for that version.
Any ideas?
