Dear all,

I like to push our calendar entries from jevents to Facebook and maybe also twitter. Because I did not want to maintain them twice. I found a plugin from JEvents: Twitter/Facebook Updates But I could not download it. Could somebody help me or has another idea to fulfill my requirement.

Best regards
Christoph

Hello Christoph,

So JEvents doesn't do any facebook pushing. We used to have a plugin which pushed the events directly to facebook but that API was stopped by facebook.

You could use Autotweet to push event notifications i.e. new event created. see:
https://extensions.joomla.org/extension/autotweet-ng/

Many thanks
Tony

Thanks for your answer, but Autotweet only post the articles and no the events to Facebook.

Is their another plugin which can do that?

Hello,

Autotweet has a plugin system so you can use our autotweet plugin to push events to autotweet see:

Great thanks for the answer :)

Is that then a post on facebook or also an calendar entry that is shown in facebook under upcoming events?

Thanks
Christoph

Hi Christoph,

It will push the notification to Autotweet and Autotweet will push it to twitter/facebook etc where you set and how :-)

Many thanks
Tony
