Hello All,

I have been struggling on this for about a day now.

I am building a basic website (currently on a WAMP Test lab) and the default Language is German. I installed the German translation files for JEvents. I have the content German configured as well.

I have added a Month view link via a menu and it is always showing up in English.

What am I missing?

Hello,

If you have installed the Joomla! language translation and the JEvents Translation and Joomla! is set to Geramn JEvents core language strings will translate to German.

However, you must create Events in German as well as English as you do Articles.

V3.2.19 should have the managed event list which has a GR and EN on each event, clicking them shows the english and german translations which makes it all easier to duplicate events in a different language.

Many thanks
Tony

But the menu icons are always in English. I have Site/Admin Default is German, and the only content I have currently published is also German, still it shows English. It must be something stupid, but I am not seeing what is missing.

Hello,

If the menu icons are english then you site is being picked as english...

Are you sure the language codes matched for the JEvents translations and Joomla! translation? i.e. el-GR ?

Are you selecting German when you visit your site? Or atleast set the default language of the site to German?

Thanks
Tony

Thanks for trying to help me out.

The URL is being shown as (localhost/+++/index.php/de/termine/)

(So it is showing DE in the URL atleast)

Attached are the Content Settings that are published, Site Default Language, and What I am seeing.
