is there another MAP service besides Google MAPS? They are charging $ now.
It looks like an annual fee of $300 for the Cloud platform and another monthly fee to display Google Maps.
Does anyone have any experience using MAP services like Mapquest? Wayz?

Google maps is free they just want card details in case you go over the limit.

But we have released a Beta V3.5 of managed locations which uses openstreet maps :-) available to club members.

I have installed JEvents Managed Locations Package version 3.6.3 and I don't know what can I do to choose Open Street Map, as the default maps for my site.

--------------------------- SOLVED -----------------------

Inside "Jevents Locations" in upper-right corner, you can view the settings icon. Inside this, you can find a select, to choose Google Maps or OSM as maps source.

Yep, But I am waiting for Geraint to confirm if that works with iCal importing.

Do you want to create new locations/venues with your imports? If so then make sure you follow the instructions to create a Mapquest api key.
