We're ready to plan Phase II of our website (<!-- w -->www.lifelonglearningatpc.org<!-- w -->) and one of the additions we're looking at is adding the ability to register and pay for 3 types of programs:
- TRIPS - maximum number, payment - about 15-20 per year
CLASSES - maximum number, payment - about 12-15 per year
LECTURES - maximum number, payment, six per year

Would this be easy to do with J-events? What costs are involved? Is it just the cost of a Gold Membership? I know it integrates with the calendar program, but would likely need help setting it up. You were great when I was doing this last year - hope we can do again!

Hello Emily,

Welcome back :-).

You would need the Gold Membership indeed. this will allow you to get up and running. I would suggest reading the documentation thoroughly. Although it is slightly outdated I am about 80% of the way through an updated guide on the config settings.

We can provide a bit of help but obviously can't set it all up within the membership fee.

Sign up, give it a whirl and let us know if you have any issues. We will help where possible as last year :-). If you find it's not working we are happy to offer a refund within 30days.

Many thanks
Tony

Many Thanks - additional help of course would be like last year - when we paid you.

When is the next version scheduled for release? We would be working on creating events probably in Aug - Sept for our Oct 1 release

Hello,

That's fine :-).

There is no scheduled release at present as Joomla! make releases and it would set all our release schedules back when we are having to support users with issues after updating Joomla!.

I would expect a next biggish release which may potentially cause issues in about 1-2months. This will be jQuery based RSVP Pro. Whereas it is MooTools based now, although any issues would be resolved very quickly.

Many thanks
Tony
