Hi - Sorry for asking what is probably an obvious question, but does JEvents support allowing remote users to subscribe to a JEvents calendar so that they can get automatic updates to their local copy? Thanks!

Hello Pnims,

Yup it certainly does! that's why we are iCal, You just need to create a JEvents Export Menu Item in Joomla! and your users can choose what to subscribe to.

Tony

I've done that but clicking on the menu option gives me an .ical file to save locally. It does not setup an ical subscription in my email app to be updated automatically.

Rather than clicking the link, right click it and copy url then use this in your calendar application as the subscription URL.
