Our club programme of events runs from April-April, and we use jEvents to allow users to access details of future events.

I would like to add the option to download an iCal file so that they can put all future events into their calendar apps.

I have added a menu item for exporting Ical file but I don't get any real way to customise it.

All I want is to download all categories, future events only (they will straddle 2018/2019 until Aptil next year). I would rather that this does not require any input from the user.

Also, when the export is generated, the user gets the option of public events, or public and private events. I would just want that to automatically provide public events without any user input.

So simply put, click "download calendar" which will export all future public events, for all categories as a single click option.

Is this possible?

Thanks
Alasala
Hello Alasala,

This isn't possible out of the box, you would ideally need the Time Limit Plugin available to our silver members to set a time limit so only future events. And then a template override to customise the display which would need some html/php programming.

Many thanks
Tony

Ok, thanks for the response. I will have a rethink about what I want to achieve.
