I upgraded my Joomla to 3.5.1 and JEvents to 3.4.18. Everything seemed to be all right before I found out that I couldn't fix new events or change old ones in the frontend of my site. It works all right in the backend administration of JEvents, but since I'm not the only one to make events I need a handy frontend solution for that.

It seems to be a problem with user rights. There is a conflict when I change my rights to [i:15077aef]enabled[/i:15077aef]. It still says [i:15077aef]not allowed[/i:15077aef] (with a lock icon in front). I have already checked Joomla rights but couldn't find the mistake. Even when I create a new super user I can't fix or change events.

Has anyone got an idea. I've always been happy with the JEvents under Joomla 2.x
Hello,

From that picture it only shows the buttons and nothing else. Showing it could be a php error. Can you please enable maximum error reporting in the Joomla! Global config and try again?

Many thanks

Hello Tony,
thanks for helping. Now I get the following error report:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 154 bytes) in /var/www/virtual/marienschule-alsdorf.de/htdocs/libraries/joomla/cache/storage/file.php on line 585

I'm lost. I don't find anything about memory size at the indicated place in the file.php
What else can I do?
Guy

Problem solved: It's been a storage problem - and my site host helped me to fix it. There were about 4 GB of old events cached.
Is there some way how I can automically keep old events out of my cache?

I was just going to say that :-).

Glad to hear you got it solved. You need to clear your cache more frequently in Joomla!

Many thanks
