Help in setting up for roster of uses at events

I have purchased and installed RSVP Pro
But I need help in setting it up, the documentation i am reading does not seem to support my needs, which are
I have events scheduled where I need to nominate people to tasks, all the people are in my Joomla Users.
Is there a way an administrator or a nominated user can nominate people from the user list as rostered for a task and then have RSVP Pro sent them a reminder 4 days prior that they are rostered on for that task

I think there is and I am guessing it revolves around managing people resources any help would be appreciated
Sure you can!!

Follow this path in your backend:

Components -> RSVP PRo -> Sessions -> Click the Attendees button on the session you want to add attendees to -> Click on New

Hi ricmcd,
I think RSVP Pro gets you perfecty covered

You just need to configure RSVP Pro to send reminders to all Attendees (in the Reminders tab of the component configuration).

Then create an event and set there the number of hours prior to the event you want the email reminder to be sent.

Finally go to RSVP Pro -> Sessions and click on the Attendees column for your event. There you can add a new attendee which you can search just writing down the username.

With this you will be able to configure the system as per your needs

Thanks carcam but for the life of me I cannot see an attendance column for the event where I can add additional attendees, the test event simply shows me as attending.

OK I think I have found that I can add attendees from the front end, is this also available on the back end?
