Hi

Running J Events 3.2.19 on Joomla 3.4.3 and discovered the edit button will not function on the front end with a Javascript:void(0) . Have updated J Events to 3.4.0 to see if this stops the issue to no avail.

Tried in IE, FF & Chrome.

Many thanks

Andy

Can you PM Geraint or my self login details so we can take a look?

Thanks

If you are using JEvents 3.4 then you need the compatible version of the iconic layout (3.5.0RC)

Hi

Thank you for the responses. This problem raised its head on version 3.1.** so would it still be the case that the iconic template needs updating?

Regards
Andy

No - that sounds like a javascript/CSS clash with your template or a module/plugin

JEvents 3.4.0 uses a completely different popup for the pencil icon which is why the layout has to be updated for that version

Hi

Testing J Events 3.2.20 and 3.4.RC6 on Joomla 3.4.4, I discovered the same trouble : the Edit button not function on the front end.

Tried with Firefox. I use the template JA Purity III

Many thanks

Laurent

Hello Laurent,

Then it's a conflict with your template.

Check if you can configure your templates jQuery / MooTools settings?

You might want to see if jQuery Easy will fix it as a quick solution.

Many thanks
Tony
