Seems like after the most recent update, when editing an event and entering information in the Extra Info field, upon saving the event, the text in the Extra Info field gets edited so as to remove all spaces and punctuation.

Yes, I am using V3.4.27. Also, I checked on my test site that was still on V3.4.25 and the problem with removed spaces in Extra info did not occur. Then I downloaded and installed V3.4.27, and got the SQL error that has been reported elsewhere. I downloaded and installed com_jevents34_3.4.27_patch_install.zip which installed with no error, but now my test site exhibits the problem of removed spaces in the Extra info event field. So something's going on with either V3.4.27 or the com_jevents34_3.4.27_patch_install.zip update.
This is very strange - can you give us the URL and login details on the private 'site details' tab below so we can take a look.

Aha! Another clue... The compressing of the Extra info text field seems to happen only when editing a specific instance of a repeating event. If you edit the Extra info in the main event and not one of the individual repeats, there is no problem.
