Hi,
I use the iCal option to add events to my calendar.

However, when I clicked to download the iCal I got an error message as follows.

404 COM_JEVENTS_UNKNOWN_TASK

The iCal did NOT download.

Please unzip and upload this file to components/com_jevents/router.php it should resolve this issue.

I had the same problem " Error 404 on downloading iCal"
on the same version "3.6.4 Stable".

Used the same fix "Please unzip and upload this file to components/com_jevents/router.php it should resolve this issue."
and got the same result "404 Unknown Task"

BUT my installation do not "seems to work", ever after waiting 30 min.

Sorry.
What to do?

1. Make sure you clear your Joomla cache
2. If you are using a URL redirection/broken links addon - make sure you clear any relevant entries

If these don't help please can you give us the URL so we can take a look
