Hello,

Currently I have JEvents on Joomla 2.5 and JDownloads. What I would like to know is essentially can these modules be merged to work together or is there a plugin or anything else that can be purchased to accomplish this? I know a Silver Membership has the Agenda/Minutes Link add on. This is very close, but only does articles that you create, but for a few reasons this doesn't quite take care of our needs. I want to be able to link a document in the same way, but have it go not to an article, but downloadable content. Can this be done?

Thanks,
BarthIT
Hello BarthIT,

Does JDownloads have a content plugin? and a editor button? if so you could allow unfiltered HTML within the JEvents Event Edit Options, then when creating an event select a JDownload download item.

Many thanks

That looks like what I am searching for. With an eye on the future I checked to see if these plug-ins are available for Joomla 3.x. I found a content plug-in for 3.x, but don't see anything for the button. Is that in the works or would the current one work on that version of Joomla?

Hello,

I am not sure. We only provide a JEvents Files/images plugin which works within images.

I think PhocaDownload show work for what you want. Note, enable buttons within the JEvents Configuration -> Event Editing.

Thanks
