I'm interested in purchasing the Gold Membership and I was wondering if you would be able to offer a discount for 503(c) non for profit organizations? I'm the webmaster for a historical museum in the US which covers the medical practices of the American Civil War during the 1800s.

In addition, I wanted to find out what we would need to do both public and private events at a single location.

We also have Easyblog so we are thinking of using some type of social extension but did not know which would be the most appropriate to use that would integrate well with JEvents and the RSVP Pro. Are there other extensions that we would need?

Best regards,
Jim MacDiarmid
Unfortunately a large proportion of our users are non-profit organisations, charities or social organisations - as a result we try to keep our prices as low as possible for all our users and are not able to offer discounts.

Private events are managed either by Joomla ACL, RSVP Pro or the user specific events addon (depending on what you mean by private) - i.e. members only, invitees only or creator only.

If you are already using EasyBlog then you could use EasySocial - we offer a basic integration where you can view events created by a user or being attended by a user in their EasySocial profile. The other options are JomSocial (commercial) or Community Builder (free or commercial depending on the features you want).
