I am trying to create a filter that shows an event list from a particular date in the future, and/or for a period ie July 2024. I don't want to display a calendar on the site. There doesn't appear to be a date filter in the JEvents - Filter Module, is that correct?
If you use the TimeLimit plugin it gives you access a range of date filters that can be incorporated into the filter module

OK. I found that, though it's confusingly not called TimeLimit in the Silver downloads.
The date filter is really useful, and I wish it was in the filters module by default. My biggest issue now is that it shows a completely different layout for filtered events. My main list uses an override, so I assume I could do something similar with this filtered list?

The filter module should not affect your event list presentation. Did you configure it to redirect to a specific menu item?

What is the URL you are using?

I'm testing on a staging version (URL in Site Details)
It defaults to a menu item and this works for Search and Venue filters.

Do you have a template override in place for your list.events view? Can you copy this to the range.listevents view too?

Did you look at the float theme? That could be what you need

See https://www.jeventsdemo.net/float-theme

I use an override for default/list/events_body.php but this file is quite different to default/range/listevents_body.php isn't it?

If you can give me FTP and login access to the dev site I can check your overrides for you

You made changes on the live website that also seem to relate to the filter question. There were a number of updates made and some content now doesn't show as the template was switched. I've switched the template back. Is there any info on the filter which was being tested on the staging site?

sorry about the template switch - I thought I'd put it back as it was

Can you reinstate the login - I don't think I looked at the date filter issue, I was concentrating on your other issue first.

I'd like to see why the filter module it pointing to a monthly calendar view - the fix may be as simple as selecting a different menu item as the target menu item for the module
