Hi!

You have a very cool piece of software! I'm looking for quick answers to some idea's I have to create a usecase for your software on our site.
I think I could find the answer by searching at your forums, but not knowing what to look for makes it's a tough search.

1. Is it possible to filter on custom fields?
2. Is it possible to "assign" events to (multiple) instructors and if they log in (Community Builder), they can get an overview of their assigned events?
3. Is it possible to connect events to one specific Virtuemart item?
4. Is iDeal (payment method in the Netherlands) supported?
5. Can I send an email as soon as I assign an instructor(s) to the instructor(s) to inform him/her?
6. Is it possible to change the value of a custom field in one specific event in a reoccurring event schedule?

1. It sure is
2. You can use the managed people to add instructors then when the instructor is clicked they will see the manage people page with a list of events associated with them.
3. No, you would use RSVP Pro and then on checkout it creates a product once for each event.
4. We do not support this, but I think Virtuemart have this payment method?
5. Not at present, you could have categories in JEvents for each instructor and set the instructors to be notifyed of new or modified events in the JEvents New event and change notifications plugin.
6. Yes, you can customise each individual repeat of a series.

Hi,

I played with the cusom fields and the templates are showing up. I tried the planner example... but the star and label are not showing up after I put them into the custom layout template?

Can what is the custom field for the planner you are using?

Did you enable the custom fields plugin to attach to lists/modules.
