Hello
I know that JEvent Calendar for Joomla 1.5.x is not more supported, but I cannot update it at moment.

I'm looking for Chinese translation for this old version, do you know if anyone has developed it?

Otherwise, it is possible to get it under payment?

Thanks in advance

Giulia
Hello Giulia,

I'm afraid we didn't have a Chinese translator for Joomla! 1.5.

We can advise on how to translate it if you wish to do it your self?

Thanks
Tony

Thank you.
Do you think it is a complicated and a long job to macke a Chinese translation by myself?

Do you know anyone to have a quote of this job? Just to have an idea.

Hello,

It's not complicated. But can be quite long...

If you download the JEvents on your site and look in the language folder you will see a few. In files

You need to replace the English ones with Chinese ones.

I would suggest changing the file names to, to match you Chinese language

Thanks
Tony

Fantastic!
it seems what I'm looking for.
Just a question (maybe you can help me):
As I have installed Jcalendar v.1.5.6 and I have to update to 2.x version for Joomla 1.5.x, do you know if I need to un-install the old version before?

From memory you can install version 2.2.9 on top of 1.5.6.

Make sure you have an up to date backup first!
