Hello

In one future website, we have a calendar that displays training sessions for certains dates. Every one can purchase a session via the calendar (using RSVP Pro for JEvents I think)

After the event purchase, the new registered user will have in his private area some downloadable documents related to his recent purchase.
After the purchase, the user will receive a mail with attached related documents.
That means that every events has is own separated list of documents.

Is it possible with the combination of JEvents and RSVP Pro ? And maybe with the help of another JEvents plugins ?

Thanks for your help

Best regards
Its possible in the custom fields addon for JEvents to specify fields that are only visible to RSVP Pro attendees. This can include images, files, text, videos etc.

So your attendees after paying could view the event detail page and get access to this information.

Thanks !

So if I purchase the event A. I will have access for example to 3 documents related to the document A.

If I purchase the event B, I can see for example 5 more documents that are related to the event B.

And what about the email functionnality I asked ?

Thanks !

Hello,

That is a little more complicated. At present it only works for all Attendees.

This is possible to a point, although we would advise providing links to the documents.

Many thanks

Hi skouf01,
which is your timeframe? I got a custom project approved that will imply tweaking a lot Jevents Mail system and will probably end up in a new JEvents addond that can probably allow you that. This Project has the end of this year as deadline but I want to have it down by october/november and probably that part can be done before that. Will that fit your deadline?

Ok thanks.

So Jevents is not what we are looking for this project. Or maybe just as a calendar and links to piece of contents.

We will see.

As I said you can make the restricted access documents available on the website exclusively to signed up users - we just don't offer a mechanism to email them.

Ah ok.

And the documents will appear depending of the event the user just purchased ?

Group of documents are different for each event and he may access only the group of documents related to the purchased event

That is correct on both counts - so your email can include a link to the event saying access the event to download your restricted access documents.

Thanks

And where can these documents be available ?

Thay will be displayed for the registered user inside the event details page (if the system detects that he paid this event) ?
Or somewhere else ?

PS. Just an alternative question : I 'm trying to configure JEvents on my site and I want to have tthe big calendar to be displayed as a module on my front page. Is that possible because the Calendar module displays only a small calendar.

1. They will appear as links in the event detail page but ONLY for attendees that have paid for the event.

2. You want to display details of the events in the calendar or just want the mini-calendar to be bigger. The Club themes offer tooltips for the days where there are events (see http://www.jeventsdemo.net/all-events) - and the Calendar plus module is an alternative too (see https://www.jevents.net/products-new/ad ... lus-module) - otherwise you would need a component as a module addon for Joomla
