i see i can change the amount of shown events in year/category list in the backend configuration.

but is there a possibilty of letting the user decide whether to show 1, 5, 10, ... or all events in the list?

thanks for your help,

Stephan

Hello Stephan,

Only in certain views, as some for example a week view you want to see the week and it is a bit confusing to limit what they can see when they expect a week view.

For example is you look at the category view you should see it.

Many thanks
Tony

Hi Tony,
thanks for your response.

Hmm, maybe you got me wrong or i should have given you more details about my "problem". i am germanspeaking and have some difficulties in getting it right at the point.

I created an menu item with a list of events. in configuration for year/category view i can define how many events are shown in the list (all, 5, 10, 15 ...100). I set it to "all" and everything is fine for me. But there are a lot of events so i would like to let the viewer of the site select how many events are shown in the list.

Here is the site i mean: https://www.tve-kurse.de/index.php/termine/list.events/-

Thanks for your help.

Hello,

So you can with our Pagination helper. But it looks like your pagination helper doesn't set it. It's part of the template usually. You can customise your own one?

check: templates/your_template/html/pagination.php

Can you post that here? Or provide super user admin access to your site?

Many thanks
Tony

There you go, I added it to the list view as a template override for now. I'll chat with Geraint about improving this in the core moving forward.

I can't quite remember exactly, it could have also been in

/html/com_jevents/

The file should show a modified date around then.

Many thanks
Toiny
