Hi

I've having trouble with Anon Refresh . I've got four different calendars with auto refresh cron jobs which work perfectly.
But there's another 10 calendars that don't refresh.

This one works: https://chateauchallain.com/index.php?option=com_jevents&icsid=9&task=icals.reload

These don't: https://chateauchallain.com/index.php?option=com_jevents&icsid=2&task=icals.reload
https://chateauchallain.com/index.php?option=com_jevents&icsid=8&task=icals.reload

I've tried:
Turning off SEF urls
Turning off RSFirewall
Emptying cache
Deleting calendars and remaking them
Permissions of calendar categories
Checked all sharing settings in the Google Calendar
Checked the Google iCal links

When it works: I'm expecting a screen like the attached "success.jpg", which then reloads to a white screen with a grey stripe.
When it doesn't work: I don't see the success.jpg

I'm running:
PHP 7.1.97.1.9
Joomla 3.8.0
JEvents 3.4.43
It's a brand new site

Any ideas what else I can try please? thanks
Hello,

What is you access the 10 ical source urls manually. Does it then work?

Many thanks

I too had come to that conclusion but had hoped that some one might me able to tell me why. Can you suggest possible reasons why they don’t work? Thank you

Can you copy one or two of the URLs for these calendars and post them here so we can take a look?

Thanks. I already did that in my first post. Please see above for examples of working and broken URLs. Hope you can get to the bottom of this, I’ve tried everything I can think of (see my first post for the list of things I’ve tried). Thanks!

Hello,

No you are not following. They are the reload urls, not the Source URLS of the iCal Feed.

Many thanks

So both are working and should process. Although the first one has no events, if you manually click reload for it what happens?

If I manually reload it I don’t see the text message that says it’s updated.
See my first post please, I’ve described the issue in more detail.
Would it help if I DM all the calendar URLs that don’t work?

Right, so the feeds reload but no events are imported?

that's because there are no events within the feeds. As per the first one you provided.

Ok thanks I'll try adding some test events to those calendars that fail. Appreciate your advice on this.

Thanks, it worked. I received the update message on those calendars.

But, the cron job fails if the calendar doesn't show any new/edited events. I need it to autoupdate once a day, even if it hasn't been edited.

Hello,

It should carry on if it has no events. Can you provide the output from the cronjob?
