Add Event Location in the monthly calendar

Hello all,

I need a little help, I want adding a location field on the tooltip preview of monthly calendar, now I can see only title and date "start/end" of the event, in this forum I read some solutions but it doesn't work but now I know the path of the file that I need to modify.

/components/com_jevents/views/default/month/calendar_cell.php

plz help me.

Hello,

To add this is quite simple just edit:

JEvents -> cPanel -> Custom Layouts -> Monthly Calendar Tooltip (Joomla Tooltip Only)

And select where you want the location field and select it from the drop down to insert.

Save and then publish that layout.

You can use the location in your customised tool tip - see http://www.jevents.net/docs/jevents/ite ... ut-editing and then the more advanced document on monthly calendar layout editing http://www.jevents.net/docs/jevents/ite ... y-calendar (available to club members)

I have Jevents 1.5.5 for joomla 1.5 if i buy the bronze account can I add location field to tooltip of my monthly calendar ? and I can also set tooltip on the min calendar with the day signed with the some color of the event ?

Hello,

Did you see Geraints links?

We do not support JEvents 1.5.5 for Joomla! 1.5 so cannot be sure what is in such an old version.

You should really upgrade to at least 2.2.9.
