I am having trouble with the new update. Joomla will not let me install it.

Warning
Copy file failed
Package Update: There was an error installing an extension: com_jevents.zip

I am using Joomla 3.4.5
Hello,

Can you check your hosting package has enough space left?

Try downloading it manually and installing it too.

I am having the same problem upgrading from 3.4.33 to 3.4.36. Space is not an issue. Can you please tell me how to update manually? I downloaded the jevents34_3.4.36.zip file and copied the contents to a new folder, then uploaded that folder to the server. I then went to Install from Folder in Joomla and entered the path to that folder, but get this error:

JFolder::create: Could not create folder.Path: /var/www/html/tmpj3ew7/jevents/install_5904c9b89d2cf
Install path does not exist.
Package Update: There was an error installing an extension: com_jevents.zip

Hello,

So this is saying your server cannot create the package path for some reason.

Can you please provide super user logins on your reply so I can take a look?
