JEvents team is proud to present the inmediate release of JEvents Managed People & Resources 1.6.1.


Most changes on this version has been focused on improving layout defaults features extending the bloglist version and making layout defaults edition more user friendly.
Changes for this new version are:

• Added blog view for list of people / resources
• Added the ability to define different layout defaults according to person/resource type for detail view
• Added the ability to define different layout defaults according to person/resource type for blog layout view
• Not showing address fields when editing layout defaults of types that do not have address

JEvents Managed People and Resources is one of the Silver extensions that conforms the JEvents Addons family and it provides a great resources management tool that integrates seamlessly with JEvents. With JEvents Managed People and Resources you can easily create a great directory of resources with great features like:

• Simple click and select interface when editing events with the ability to create new resources without the need to return to this addon component.
• Seamlessly integration with JEvents.
• Easily manage artists, promotors, ticket agencies, locations or even coffee rota!!.
• Global or private resources - if a user is authorised in Jevents to create "global extras" then they can create global resources that everyone can use. Otherwise the user can only create private resrouces that can only associated to events by they themselves.
• Extended functionality thanks to Custom Fields addon.
• Use embedded maps with address lookups and variable zoom using a third party maps service (Currently only Google Maps is supported).
• Easily create menu items and modules restricted to specific cities or states
