Questions regarding User Specific Events
by ElementarySolutions » Sun Mar 03, 2013 8:36 pm
Hello,
I have today installed JEvents for the first time and so far so good.
I am looking to use JEvents to manage an appoint booking system.
*Currently I do not wish users to be able to create their own event, I wish that to be the Admin/Super User.
*I want users to be able to see events created in their name.
*I do not wish users to be able to see events created in other users names.
After browsing the forums, it would appear that the Silver Add On, User Specific Events will allow me to do this.
Before picking up the subscription however, I have a question. Is a Super User/Admin easily be able to view all events?

Hello,
You are correct. And yes in that plugin you can specific if the admin/super user can see all events.
You might also need the Private Events filter from the user specific event Plugin.
Regards
Tony
