Want only the big calendar

How can I display only the big calendar, without the small one?

Using J258, JEvents 307.

With the module I can only show the small calendar. After a click on it, the big calendar appears. I want to avoid step 1.
How do we do this?

Create a menu item and choose type JEvents->Month Calendar if you want it on your home page then make it the default menu item.

I am looking for the same thing, but the calendar I add from the module only shades the day of an event. If I click on an event which brings up the monthly calendar, it had details and even a popup. How do I get this option?
