Custom fields resolved - it's a typo in the example file!
it had addpath= near the top instead of addfieldpath=
Now Custom fields are shown again!
Unfortunately you still cannot choose a value
I always get the "mandatory field" error for all of my mandatory custom fields when I try to save the event :/
And another question: The Documentation says, you can define what value should appear in the "Custom Layout" for Event List or Event Detail if the value is not set. How do I do that (for example for a checkbox).
What I need is:
Checkbox not checked: - [No value - empty space]
Checkbox checked: value XY
it had addpath= near the top instead of addfieldpath=

thanks alot, Geraint
What about the mentioned
I'd really like to know how to do this for a checkbox
What about the mentioned
Formatting Output in the Layout Editing Tool
If you use the layout editing tool in JEvents to customise the layout of your event detail page or your list views then you can choose the fields you want to display and where from the drop down list of fields next to the editor.
You also have control over what is displayed when the field has no value set or is set to the default.

- Code: Select all
<field name="checkboxlist1" type="jevcfcheckbox" label="Checkbox List" description="Checkboxes tooltip" filter="1" allowoverride="1" access="1" hiddenvalue="Maybe, Possibly" >
<!-- multiple checkboxe option MUST have POSITIVE numeric values and ALL must be greater than zero //-->
<option value="1" default="0">No</option>
<option value="2" default="0">Yes</option>
<option value="3" default="1">Maybe</option>
<option value="4" default="1">Possibly</option>
</field>
In this case if you select Maybe AND Possibly the results are hidden
