Is there a way to export data from an old jevents (1.5
) towards version 3?

Hello,
Yes if you just want events, then in the 1.5 site create a Joomla! Menu item JEvens export, access this in the front end download the iCal file. Then goto the new site JEvents create new calendar from iCal file.

Hello,
Are you using the latest version of JEvents, please be using at least 1.5.6 and ideally 2.2.8 for Joomla! 1.5.

Well, upgrading to 1.5.6 should cause no problems just install it via the Joomla! Extension Manager.
