Hi! I'm quite new to JEvents, but it seems to me that it comes with a great deal of options. Still, I'm having trouble getting it to do what I want, and hopefully some of you can help me.

On my website I have a menu with cities, and different courses as submenus. When viewing a specific city, I would like to display a list of upcoming courses in that city. And when viewing a specific course, I would like to display a list of upcoming courses of that type in that city. I do not need, nor want, customers to have access to a "calendar view", just a list of upcoming courses. It would also be great if I could put a link to my booking form.

Is this possible? I hope that someone can help me achieve this

I assume you are using categories to represent your cities. If so you can create separate menu items for each category/city and specific latest events modules on these menu items constrained by the same categories.
