Installation 500 error problem

Trying to install jevents 2.2.8 into a 2.5.8 Joomla, which I've never had trouble with before, but now when I click on "manage events" it gives me the following error:(below with system info.) I'm at a loss. Any ideas? The other buttons, like categories, work.

Hello,

Do you have Joomla! debug mode enabled by any chance? or maximum error reporting? please disable before installing.

I only turned on the error reporting after I saw things weren't working so I could give you more info.

Can you disable Debug mode, Error reporting isn't much of an issue.

With Debug disabled what happens?

Same thing - just says the 500 error.

How much memory does php have? Look in your phpinfo to find out.

I actually have like 20 other installations running on this server, all with no problem (it's my server). I've never had this problem before, so I don't think it is any sort of core server issue. It's like one corrupt file or something, but I've installed it three time and had the same problem every time (on this site.)

Is the 500 error a true server error or a pretend Joomla 500 error?

If its your server - can you check the raw php error logs?

It will output an internetal server error 500 in a plain text format if its server.

If its Joomla! It will be slightly styled
