jevents legend will not display on events page

Hi

Please does anyone know the correct settings to cause the Events Legend to show just below the table of events, above the 'Display #' selector? It used to before I upgraded from v 1.5 to 2.2.8 (though its loss may be due to me changing a setting, not the version upgrade).

My version support information is:

The jevents_legend setting page is currently as shown below but I have tried changing many, many settings but still with no success.

The page that I am trying to add the legend to is:

I apologise for the rather large image size of these attachments, but the detail is hard to read on a smaller image.

Any help with this would be most appreciated as I have been tearing my hair out over this for several days, and I don't have much hair to start with!

the legend normally only appears on the month calendar pages.

You can include it elsewhere as a normal module in one of the special JEvents module positions

Special module positions to allow you to display instructions to site visitors/event creators or to place the other related modules like the filter module in more helpful positions. The positions include:

jevpretoolbar, jevpretoolbar_year.listevents, jevpretoolbar_week.listevents, jevpretoolbar_cat.listevents, jevpretoolbar_day.listevents, jevpretoolbar_month.calendar
