Incomp. between Kunena latest and Mini Calendar modules
by pifailleve » Mon Jan 21, 2013 7:45 am
Hello,
I got an incompatibility problem between Kunena Latest module and the Jevents Mini Calendar module.
Nothing is displayed except the the top menu.
I try the kack of nick82 but got the same issue.
replace
JEVHelper::loadLanguage('modcal');
by
//what loadLanguage does anyway.
$lang=& JFactory::getLanguage();
$lang->load(JEV_COM_COMPONENT, JPATH_SITE);
in mod_jevents_cal/helper.php
Any idea?

we'll need more information than 'an incompatibility problem' to be able to diagnose your problem

If I activate both modules on the same page the correct display of the site is blocked (only the menu bar at the top of the site is displayed).
If I activate the Kunena latest module and deactivate the Mini Calendar everything is OK.
Alternatively if I deactivate the Kunena latest module and activate the Mini Calendar everything is OK.

Hello,
Please enable Maximum Error Reporting in Joomla! and try and load the page with both modules.
What error do you get now?
Regards
Tony

Solved.
This was a memory exhausted problem on my test platform. I change the memory_limit to 64M and it's OK.
Thanks a lot

Hello,
I thought as much. Both require a bit of memory.

Tony
