New event entry won't allow date selection
by digitalpathways » Mon Jan 07, 2013 1:56 am
I'm using JEvents 2.2.8 with Joomla 1.5.26. All was well for this client until recently when she was unable to save newly entered events. We updated Joomla to 1.5.26 and JEvents to 2.2.8. All was well again until the last week, when we can no longer select the date of the event, either by entering it manually, or by using the calendar popup. The calendar popup doesn't appear, and the date field is not editable. Nothing has changed in the config. Any suggestions?

Yes, it's enabled. I'm also using JCE, and disabled TinyMCE

Can you Clear your Cache? does it work now?
Can you check you have the original mootools plugin not an additional one? the additional ones allow selecting front / backend mootools versions.

Tony

I just did some more experimentation, and if I add the site into the compatibility view settings in both IE8 and IE9, all is well. It doesn't resolve the issue with Firefox though.

The mootools pluggin that's enabled is System - Mootools Upgrade, ver 1.2.5. That's the only one in the listing.
I don't have an entry for jevents in the clear cache listing...how do I clear the cache?
Firefox is ver 17.0.1
