Jevents 3.0 for Joomla 3 on productive site ?

Hi,
i would like to migrate our site to new Joomla 3 (now we are at 1.5).
Is Jevents for J3 already useable ?
And we also use the Managed Locations and People component. When are they being available for 3.x ?

Hello Stefan,

We are about to release a stable version any day now. The addons will be available this month.

Is there any reason you are using 3.0 in a production environment?

It's advised to stay to 2.5 until 3.5 is out unless you need some core features on Joomla 3.0. You will need to upgrade to 3.5 as soon as it is released.

Thanks for information.
I like to use 3.x because our template has to migrate from w.5 and 2.5 and 3.x cannot use the same template.

I think i can save time when going to 3.x direct.

2.5 is supported till spring 2014 (same as 1.5).

You think its better to go to 2.5 instead?

2.5 LTS is till 2014 correct. But 1.5 Stopped last September. Unless Joomla! extended this again and I'm just not aware?

As you are on 1.5 I just suspected you might not want to update you site regularly. If everything you use supports 3.x and is in active development and you are happy keeping the site up to date then go for 3.x

Migration succeeded! THe new Joomla 3 / Jevents 3 Site is in production and works very fine.
