Did you click the 'Privat' category in the legend module before the last screenshot?

Nope - The events still have their first Category (Test or Privat). All additional Categories are gone.
I didn't select any category in the module.

If it helps you, I can make a backup from my localhost with akeeba, that you can install anywhere you want with the kickstarter...

That would be rather a large file to upload - I have a static IP address so you could allow my IP address through your router's firewall so I could access the site on your localhost. Does that make sense? If so I'll send you a PM and I'll give you my IP address.

the same thing is happening to me, but I realized that to save settings changes nothing happens. soon realize that it takes to save and restore the multiple categories so that without checking first-hand that it is active redo it every time this exchange is saved and it goes to the first category in that list ...

@sonnenlanze
I edited your events in the backend and made the "Silversand Natural Horsemanship" event multi-category.
With the legend module visible I see all the category info - I then filter the list by clicking 'privat' and only the 'privat' events (and category info) shows. I think click 'all categories' and all the events and all the multi-category information reappears.
In other words I don't see any problems.

Geraint - the problem ist not filtering... the problem is saving anything in the configuration of the legend module...
Try this: If you have events with multicategories and see them in the event list, switch to administration.
There open the legend module. Change only the Title (or anything else minor). Change back to the Front End. Press [Strg]+F5
