The old ext layout uses a HTML table but the extplus uses carefully sized divs to get everything laid out correctly.
I'll try to finish off the scalable iconic layout, which I've been working on, this afternoon.

Has this been completed, as a Silver member requested it.
If so, have you a demo of it.
Thanks

The scalable iconic layout is now available for Joomla 2.5/3.0 - unfortunately the jevents.net site has not been upgraded yet to Joomla 2.5 (we are aiming for before the year end) so there isn't a demo.
It looks the same as the normal iconic layout apart from the fact that there is no 'week number' column on the left side of the page. The layout will get narrower and narrower until there is no longer enough space to fit all the text in the cells (e.g. day numbers in month calendar) at which point it won't get any narrower. You also have the option of using a list layout instead of a calendar layout for the month view which eliminates this constraint.

Hi,
Are you using tables or divs for this.
And will an event that is scheduled over multiple days, display like it does in the extplus monthly calendar.
Thanks

This is using HTML tables at present - hence the issue with the cells getting too narrow for the text they contain.
In the new year we will be working on a new version that automatically switches from a tablular layout (using divs) to a list when the space gets too narrow.
In other words we are constantly striving to improve the layouts and are always keen to hear from club members when they have design ideas for improving the layouts and presentation of the events calendar/list.
