Export ICS of just one event

Hi,
we run JEvents 2.2.8 and have an issue with exporting an ICS file for one specific event. Am wondering if you guys would have any suggestion...
So, we have modified JEvents_latest and added a little popup icon so that when the user clicks on the icon 3 options are displayed:
-Add event to Google Calendar
-Add event to Yahoo Calendar
-Download ICS of the event
The first two options work without a problem but the third one generates an ICS file with content that has nothing to do with the event in question.
The URL of the button in the popup to generate the ICS is:
http://www.website.com/index.php?option ... &evid=1130
In the case above the ICS that is generated contains information from a different event altogether (!)
So, I am wondering if I am missing to include any parameter in the URL that generates the ICS file for that particular event?
Or is there a better way to generate an ICS for one particular event?
Thanks in advance, JEvents rocks!

Thanks, your post helped to narrow down the issue.
I create a new invisible menu item of the type JEvents -> Icalexport and then changed the code of my popup so that instead of using the evid() field I use the id() one and once that is done everything worked fine.
