Repeating events not visible in category view

The query is from the code for not-showing repeats please update JEvents to version 2.2.8 - I should have spotted earlier that your installed version is out of date

What are your settings in the JEvents Configuration under Monthly and also Yearly/category view?

Can you post a screenshot.

Please look in the file components/com_jevents/views/ext/cat/tmpl/listevents_body.php and components/com_jevents/views/default/cat/tmpl/listevents_body.php

and confirm the data call near the top is

The code is available in
components/com_jevents/views/default/cat/tmpl/listevents_body.php.

It is not available in components/com_jevents/views/ext/cat/tmpl/listevents_body.php, but also not in the other templates. In all templates it only shows 2 lines of which one is to include /default/cat/tmpl/".basename(__FILE__));

I've selected one of the other templates and noticed the repeating events shows up in category view! There only seems to be a problem when using the EXT template.

I have looked at version 2.2.8 from the download area and it does include this code in the default layout file and by implication (via the include) in the ext layout file.

Please double check that you have version 2.2.8 of JEvents on your server

In the extension manager it shows 2.2.8.
I installed it over the previous 2.1.13a.

that is very strange - can you manually make the changes to the default layout file then

Problem solved! There was a template override (sorry, didn't know that) which of course was not affected by the update. I changed it manually and now everything is fine.Thank you for your help.
