The event description is not showing in details

Don't know why... I think I have checked everything, but as you can see by this link, there isn't any text for the event description. I did first search the forum but found nothing.
Here is a link to an example. http://stjohnschool.info/sjs-at-a-glance/calendar/icalrepeat.detail/2013/02/14/37/-/timber-ridge-water-park
Thanks in advance!

Check your JEvents layout default. I suspect you have removed the description tag?

Could be a content plugin that is replacing the whole description with blank content. Try disabling the content plugins to see if you can find the culprit

I have the same issue as well. Although both the extra info and the description are in the event detail layout, they are not showing in the calendar detail view.I can see in the database the values for these are saved. Also, if I add any test text in the layout itself, it gets displayed.
I assume the problem is either the value does not get fetched from the database or there is something else which blocks the transformation and display of these fields.
By the way I tried disabling all content plugins as suggested as well but there was no change on the events detail view.
Can you please shed some light?
Thanks

Hi Tony,
Yes I have checked the posts and also they are enabled(in fact I enabled all of them to see if that makes a difference). Also, both the external info and the description bits are included in the layout(exactly as derost shown above. If I add any html content in the source of the details default layout, it gets displayed so that is another proof of that I am using the default layout.
So as I mentioned the problem is likely something is blocking the description and external info.

It should then therefore be loading.
I would check your content plugins and disable non Joomla! ones to see if you can find the culprit.

Tony
